Well doing a semi-montly update (well like a bi-weekly I guess, that means once every two weeks). We had a beach bash on Saturday with AACF. It was over at Seabright beach in Santa Cruz. Had some fun, played some beach volleyball, ate some GRUBBIN’ food, did some worship. About 15 people were there, including Lisa, who I brought along for the fun. The day was pretty good, except when I sprained my index finger on my left hand, and when Lisa forgot her purse in one of the drivers cars.

Well the sprained finger kinda stinks. I can’t play guitar right now (I tried about 20 minutes ago, it doesn’t sound great, blah). I can’t bend my finger all the way, so pretty much I can type a lil (with a lil pain), and play playstation, wheeee. No guitar, no lifting weights, blah. I’m supposed to play guitar this

BBQ went well. There was tons of food. Michelle and Ryan made this cool fruit salad and used the watermelon shell as a bowl! it was so cool, till Wade broke it. Ahhh well. The main food was hambergers and hotdogs, and some kaluhua (dunno if that’s spelled right) bbq pork. The bbq kaluhua pork was a little strong, hah, didn’t burn out well. I also helped a guy named Daniel tune his guitar, cuz he didn’t know how to, hehe. It was just a fun time of hanging out and gearing up for next week’s large group.

CS (counter-strike) 1.3 came out along with the Half-Life patch of 1108. The new HL Patch enabled a radio chat thing, which surprisingly works really, really well. It sounds crisp and clear over the internet with not lag (course I am on a DSL connection, so that could explain somethings). Looks good

Well some big news is that I got to see Charlie Hall again at an event called “Heal Our Land”. What a timely event named that. The pastor who organized the whole thing, actually started with that theme name 9 months ago, but only God knew of the incidents that would happen in America, just 4 days prior to the concert of worship.
Charlie did an excellent job as usual, and Lisa came along with me to see. He did some newer stuff (King of Glory, Psalm 126, etc), and also did some other interesting songs like Let My Words Be Few (penned by Redman) and God’s Romance (by Martin Smith of Deliirous). Very interesting that he did God’s Romance, because I haven’t heard him do that one at all before, hah. I knew that I knew the song when we were singing it, but I couldn’t remember where it

Wow, big events today (well yesterday now) in New York, and Washington DC. The US was attacked by terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon. 4 Planes were hi-jacked, and were purposely crashed into bulidings. Two into each of the Twin Towers. One into the Pentagon, and one just crashed in Pennsilvania. This has been called the worst terrorist attack on US soils, and is being compared to the likes of the Pearl Harbor many decades ago. The attacks were so…surreal. I can’t believe it actually happened here in US soils, and that the Twin Towers are now, just rubble. Thousands of people have died in the buildings, they estimate that about 10,000 people in each of the buildings. It’s sad that 266 people were killed in the airplanes that were crashed as well. All 4 planes were hi-jacked, and were headed towards california. My prayers go

Here goes some scripture I read this morning. It seems very timely for a situation that I’m going to. For the full detail of the scripture, read the first chapter of Hosea also, but I really like this 2nd chapter.

Hosea 2

1 “Say of your brothers, `My people,’ and of your sisters, `My loved one.’
2 “Rebuke your mother, rebuke her, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove the adulterous look from her face and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts.
3 Otherwise I will strip her naked and make her as bare as on the day she was born; I will make her like a desert, turn her into a parched land, and slay her with thirst.
4 I will not show my love to her children, because they are the children of adultery.
5 Their mother has been unfaithful
