Vertically Rising

The CD project is coming along. We’ve been doing mostly recording for guitar, and some instrument stuff, and just started doing vocals recently. Tommorrow night we’re supposed to be working on some stuff at around 9:45pm or so, and we’ll see how that all goes. I think I’ll have to record a few more guitar tracks, just so that we have some more material to work with as well.

We got a drum set in our house now. Nate came down last weekend and dropped it off. All the guys in the house (well Derek, Ricky, and I) have been playing with it, and trying to learn. I went out and got some Hot Rod drum sticks for it, cuz I like them a lot, though they’re getting abused a lil. The drum set will help for the recording, whooo. I don’t have to lug my computer to my church anymore.

I’m feeling a lil down too, so it doesn’t make going into work early any easier either. I just wanted to lay in bed and sleep all day. hah!

The CD is getting delayed and such. I haven’t done all the guitar tracks that I’ve want to do (they were supposed to be done on the 9th) and the vocals are supposed to be all done by the 25th, but don’t think that’s gonna happen. Hopefully if I push everything back, some things won’t take as long as we can still produce it by the 2nd week of April. No promises though…heh.
