Well 4th of July passed (as well as my Dad’s bday (7/01), and my Mom’s bday too (7/4). We didn’t really celebrate it, but I got them stuff, hehe. Anyways, the 4th of July was a never ending decision making process. At first we were going to go down to my place in San Jose, since it was warm, and we could barbaque there (course it would be HOT too). We decided Tuesday night at prayer night not to. We were then gonna go to Baker Beach, and bbq and hang out, but Wednesday morning when Gordo and Patrick went there, it was already all filled up and the grills were all taken. So we ended up back at my place to decide what to do. We decided to go to Patricks and BBQ there (which was good, since he had a BBQ grill too, hah). So we hung out and ate there until we decided we were bored and went to Baker Beach. We sat around there for awhile and played one of Mel’s hand games with tapping (I dunno really, I didn’t play, hehe). It soon got cold, and we were yet again wondering what to do, so we called Pastor Kevin and went over there to his new house in South San Francisco. We cooked more BBQ (on a cool gas grill! wow!) and watched “Remember the Titans” and lit firecrackers and stuff. Fun night, and what a good movie! Didn’t think it would be that good, but kinda did. I wanted to watch it when I first heard about it, but never did. Oh well. Got to see it now. It’s one of Pastor Kevin’s top 5 movies, in my own list, it’ll go in the top 15 probably, but maybe not top 10…have to figure out my list again. Some movies that go into top 10 are: Braveheart, Gladiator, Last of the Mohicans….Face/Off….Crouching Tiger may be in there…not sure, hah. Some others that I can’t think of right now….
Ahh, the summer road trip info…well guess I can’t reveal too much, cuz it might ruin surprises, so I won’t say anything about it, other than I may go on one soon, whooo. Mini-vacation! =P
