WIFE WANTED!!! (erm, not for me, hah, read on)

Ok, well in trying to find a wife for Derek Chan, Nate posted this on his deadjournal. I figure I should post it to, as we want to try and find him an availible woman. (man, if this every really really gets out, oh boy, derek may never find a wife, hah, this seems so desparate….erm…sorry). Anyways, here goes the message, this is written by Nate, hah.

————————————————————————
yeah that’s right… its’ in bold. Derek Chan is looking for a wife, so if any of you ladies feel like meeting him then leave a message. hahahahaha. He is one of the coolest cats that i know, and overall a giant Sharks fan. Raised in Hayward, Derek is about 5’7″ish and has black hair, brown eyes. He’s chinese but can’t understand a word of it. much like me. haha… he also enjoys long walks on the beach (for all u ladies who are into that kinda stuff). Derek is a caring, loving, and compassionate person. so if u are interested, or know someone who is, just leave me a message or something, and i’ll send u an application. we are determined to find a good wife for him.

I’ll just add, I’ve known him for about…5 years now, and he’s a great guy. Funny, good looking, and if you want pictures of him in the show….errrmmm…never mind. I was just kidding. I’m his current roommate, and have been for the last 2 years, so I can say he’s a pretty clean guy (cleaner than the rest of us in the house, or atleast cleaner than me). So yeah, if you’re interested, or want to go on a blind date with him, leave a comment, or email me! =P Hah! Sick!

Cool day at work

It seemed long, and a little dull. My main job was doing product returns, so pulling off excessive amounts of cds, that don’t sell well, and putting them on a cart. After that was all done, I had to go through each and every cd and tape to make sure they have a upc label on it, for scanning, and make sure all the Demo CDs for listening, dont’ have these upc labels. I only got through about 7 shelves of that. heh.

One of the neat things today was that I met a Reverend by the name of Reverned Owens. (sorry, not sure on his first name, hahaha). I actually met him briefly about 2 weeks ago when I was up at the registers. Anyways, I got to talk with him some more today, and we just chatted about things. We talked about Christian Rap artist, and how I felt about them and such, and about how before I was saved I used to listen to a lot of Rap and R&B and junk like that, but the Lord delivered me from that, as well as cursing, and other things. It was so fun to talk to him, and he’s a pretty cool guy. He grew up actually in San Francisco, right by where Lisa lives (well more over by Cornerstone, but that’s close enough considering). He mentioned that he’ll pray that the Lord will have us meet again, so that I could lead worship at his father’s church in SF (which he may take over from his father soon, he’s praying about it). Anyways, just wanted to update my journal with that neat entry about a friendly customer. =)

Dumb Drivers and AACF

Well yesterday as I was on my way to work, there was a really, really dumb lady. I was in the left lane, of a 2 lane street. In the right lane there was a stopped bus for public transportation. I maintain my speed, and this red BMW in the right lane TOTALLY cuts me off right before I pass the bus. About two blocks down, she comes along side of my car (she went back into the right lane after she passed the bus), rolls down her window and starts yelling at me! WHAT AN IDIOT!!! Man, that made me mad. When she cut me off, I wasn’t mad, but when she had the nerve to try and say it was my fault, GRRRRRR. Whatever lady!

AACF was last night and we had OATH over there as well as some people from NorthWest. We got put into the Umhana room, cuz we had so many people and Derek got us in there by asking. Cool stuff. THEY HAD BETA 58 WIRELESS MICS IN THERE!! I didn’t get to use them, but wow!!! I wish our church had them. =(
The night went really well, NorthWest did a few skits that I hadn’t seen before, and Oath did a few of their skits and human videos. We didn’t have too many people out there this week, it was really too bad. =( Oh well. They missed out.

That’s it for now. (lol, I just used infuriated, cuz it sounds need and I wanna see what the icon looks like)

New Printer, Weekend Report

Well, lesse what’s new. I bought a new printer last week. It’s a nice new color printer by HP, model 845c (lol, sounds like a Taylor Guitar model! hahahaha, ok…I’m just weird now). Anyways, I got it for just 64$ shipped!! Amazing huh? Check out www.slickdeals.net for the latest deals on things (that’s where I got that printer, as well as my 17 cases of soda for 37$ shipped, hahaha).

Well the teams from Evangel and NorthWest came in over the weekend, mostly on Saturday. Ango actually came home on Friday night (well Saturday morning, at 2am), and the NorthWest people came in Saturday at around 6:20. I got to meet some of them at Pastor Kevin’s house and drive two of them out to Lily Dea’s (who lives in the bottom part of Phil and Nancy Wong’s house).

It’s been a long while since I’ve been out there, and boy, it sure took me a little bit to remember how to get out there. I kept turning on the wrong streets. Well, I finally made it there, and they got settled and stuff, and I drove Pablo back. I forgot my Guitar at PK’s (Pastor Kevin’s) so I made my way back out there, and found out that Evangel’s team had ALL of their luggage delayed till 10:40. I knew that PK and PSlim (Pastor Sanrda Lim, aka Slim, aka PSlim…yeah….) were pretty tired, so I offered to help Cliff pick up the luggage. We went over there and man, it was so frustrating. The lame “Rent-a-Cops” were around, or I guess maybe they’re just traffic control or something, but anyways, Cliff and I were parked there, and IN the car, yet they still told us to go around. So we went around about 3 times, and finally Cliff went into the short-term parking. We went to go look for the other guys who came with us (Greg and Scott) and got the bags and headed back. Now this was the interesting part. Trying to fit 18 people’s bags and sleeping bags into two cars. Cliff was driving the rental van (It’s a Windstar) and I have my accord. LOL. It was pretty funny. Really entertaining really. To see us moving each bag over to a different car, depending on where they lived (Cliff dropped off to 3 houses, since they were close, I just dropped them off at church in the morning). We were so realived when all the bags fit. ahhhh. =P

So anyways, the skits and human videos they did were great today. I hope to see them again on Wednesday, as well as at the park. I’ve seen Cliff do that one called Anchor before, but I forgot where at, but it was actually at our church, and the other person in it was Evelyn! I forgot how good Eve was at drama, wow.

I also had a long meeting with AACF again, planning for our praise night which is coming up March 20th. Lotta work, and a long meeting, but we had King Eggrolls. Yum yum. Ok, I’ve talked enough, this post is probably REALLLLLY long.
