Well I guess that statement isn’t entirely true, as I was the only one working on it, but alas, I was born in the year of the monkey by the chinese zodiac. (BTW: weird side note, anyone remember that weird “Zodiac Killer” back in the 80s? scared me a lot, haha).

So yeah, I did some work on my webpage tonight. It looks alright, though I’ll probably be changing it sometime. The pictures on the right frame were kinda cool, till I kept lowering the quality of them. Now they’re still at about 4K each, which I bet would still slow down a 56K modem, but I won’t be sure till I try it at home or something. Almost everywhere I go there’s atleast dsl now, except my house in SF. Lame…

So yeah, give a peak over at www.randallwongband.com and let me know what ya think of it. None of the links on the left frame work yet, so yeah. Oh, and they won’t change color when you go over them….so dunno if people would like that or not. 

Haha, ok, weird title, but I’ll explain in a little bit.

I dropped by Iggy Iguana’s today after work. I went back last Thursday as well, as they had some music night, and just picked up some food. Did the same today, and saw there were people in that same “music” room. Low and behold, I hear a voice I recognize and a person that I recognize. Speaking to a small crowd of people in a room was none other than Quoc, the speaker AACF had at the praise night last year. Anywyas, they have a group that meets there on Tuesday nights called X-Factor, and they have a bible study, sing some worship, and just share some praises that are going on. Purty cool, that Iggy Iguana’s would host something like that. I didn’t stay tonight, since I was a bit hungry, so yeah, looked pretty interesting though.

I had an interesting thought on the word “Redeemed” tonight on the drive home. How interesting of a word, since most of the time we think of coupons when we think of it. Redeemed…(from the Randy’s Head Dictionary). adj. to have been paid out in full.
Often times in worship songs we sing about our Redeemer. With the meaning I have in my head, that would mean that Jesus has paid for us in full. There’s nothing we need to pay. Nothing we need to give for our lives. It’s like a coupon that’s been given for our way into Heaven, just by beliving and following Him. Cool huh?

Well lesse, this week started out interesting. My hours were cut down, by 10 hours! So now I only have 17.5 hours of work this week, booooo. Oh well. Gives me more time to do things during the day that I need to get done.

I had to chance to record the song “Everything” by Lifehouse yesterday. It sounds pretty good on guitar. I haven’t recorded the vocals for it yet, but yeah, I recorded a video of me playing and singing it with my webcam, and it turned out pretty good. =) So hopefully it’ll sound really good.

Pastor Sandra’s wedding was just on Saturday. It was a nice wedding, held in church, so it was really really packed with about 250 people or so. Pastor Lim kept saying some funny stuff during the wedding (he was the minister, as well as the Father to the Bride), and I swear he was just gonna keep cracking up and crying at one point, hehe. I helped out with picking up the food and cleaning up afterwards. Got a lot of leftovers, oh man oh man, it’s a lot. haha. But I’m a starving college student, what can I say, it’s free! whoooo!

Talked with Pastor Kevin a little yesterday before he went on his trip to get an idea for the college service flier. I’m in charge of that since I didn’t want some hokey fliers that use clipart from computers, haha. So yeah, I made this really nice flier today.

Lemme know what ya think of it. It has to go through final approval with Pastor Kevin on sunday.

[EDIT: Hah, I had to change the flyer cuz Clifford said it was too church-y or something of the like. Previously it had a guy praying, holding his hands up, and a person who was face down on the floor praying as well. Well I changed it to David Crowder, from a cool pic I took at a conference. I had to reverse it horizontally, so it looks like David is now left-handed, haha. Oh well.)

Hah, well I just had a dream, but I don’t remember what exactly it was about. I’m gonna make a weird analogy about dreams though, hahahaha.

Why is it that dreams feel like the game “The Sims”? I mean, in dreams, time passes so fast, and you can do like 45 things in the span of 3 minutes. It’s like the sims where it takes them 45 minutes to do 3 things….well I guess that’s backwards…but yeah, for some reason I woke up, and thought my dream was like the sims, hahaha. Ok….think Lisa, Ango, and Lawrence have “The Sims” so much on the brain, that it’s now affecting me. Its the current game that they’re playing a lot, and I even played it at their house a couple of times. I downloaded it here, but I haven’t played it in like a week and a half. Good stuff! =) Weird that I dreamed about it though, haha. 

Man, KFC is so good, even when it’s cold!!! haha. Yeah, that’s kinda random, I know, but yeah….

Got a few minutes before I have to leave for work, so I’ll update on a little bit of things. Strangely, I got “scouted” or something at work. I helped some guy out to find a CD last Tuesday, and he gave me a call on Thursday at work, and wanted to sit down for coffee with me and tell me about the company he works for (some advertising company, along the lines of Amazon.com or something). He said that I had good people skills, then again, I don’t know how that would be used in an Advertising company (well I guess I could talk to clients or companies and such). So yeah, sounds interesting, but I also like working at Berean a lot. Oh well, it’s always worth just hearing him out and stuff.

Look’s like Derek’s computer has been down awhile cuz of a Virus. VIRUS! hah, better not be something you gave the rest of us too Derek! siiick. Anyways, Derek moved out, and now I’ve found out that my new roommate (since Michael is just staying in the other room) is going to be Daniel. Wonder what he’s like. Derek, you were a good roommate man!! =) I’ll miss you!! (heh, that sounded kinda gay, sorry, forgive me for that outburst).

Pastor Sandra’s wedding is coming up on Saturday. Man, I can’t believe she’s getting married. So weird. Think she’s the first of pretty much my age group (she’s just a year older than me) that’s getting married. And I know she’s the first one of the old youth group getting married. John-David (or JD as I call him) is a cool guy. Can’t wait to do some worship stuff with him around, whooo.
