Wow, the 2nd day of his CD release, and we’ve already sold about 15 or more copies. We sold 10 yesterday, as I recorded, and I’m anxicously awaiting to see how many we sound today. Looks like the CD is doing extremely well. Well I found out today through some other Sixsteps Reps that Chris Tomlin did buy a Chet Atkins SST guitar. This story goes back a few …

Winter Camp is in a few days. I still don’t remember our speakers name for it. Pastor Sandra, myself, Lisa, and Reese are driving. John-David and I are doing worship, and I’ll be bringing up my Chet Atkins, whooo. I’ll have a lil fun with that, and doing backup singing, though I’m not that great at harmonies, I’ll have to figure something out. I’m not quite sure what range …

Well I finished up two songs tonight. Well…then again, “finished” is a term used lightly. As the bass, electric, drums, etc, parts aren’t done on it yet (as well as the vocals too, doh). The two songs I did tonight were “We Are Hungry” and “Pour Out My Heart.” Now the neat thing about these two songs are this, I decided to extend them a lil, by doing something …

Wow, what a busy day yesterday and today. We’re busy doing returns about the whole story, because of Christmas. Whatever didn’t sell, we’re trying to sell back to the company that we ordered it from (which is kinda neat, thought they would just make us store it till next year, lol). Anyways, since I’m now in the music department, I was busy doing a bunch of Christmas returns. We …

Well the recording is nicely on it’s way. I did the guitar tracks for “Our Love is Loud” though it’s not one of the original songs I picked, I do really like the song, and may include it with this AACF CD (if it doesn’t go on there, it definately will go on my own cd, hehehe). I figured out the chords a few nights ago when 722 did …

! Hehe, yes the news is, that I bought the Chet Atkins SST model guitar. I bought it actually the week of Thanksgiving, that tuesday before hand I believe. It ends up that it was the same day that I recieved my Taylor last year (It was shipped to my parents house the tuesday before thanksgiving last year). I’ve been playing with it a lot, and I really like it. …

Well some big news is that I got to see Charlie Hall again at an event called “Heal Our Land”. What a timely event named that. The pastor who organized the whole thing, actually started with that theme name 9 months ago, but only God knew of the incidents that would happen in America, just 4 days prior to the concert of worship. Charlie did an excellent job as usual, …

Found some cool chord progressions. I want to write a song now. Some kinda worship song (and I had some cool singable melodies for it too). Hopefully something will come of this, whooo. =) First God gave me lyrics, now He gives me music, cool. Now just to put two and two together. current mood: ecstactic

Hrm, after a talk with Lisa today, I think I’ll release a few of my songs/poems on this LiveJournal thingy. Enjoy, give your responses to me on AIM (WarbladeX) or leave a comment. =) Oh and of course these are as always a work on progress and never finished till I say so. =) “Beauty of the Cross” I’ll meet You at the cross, Lord Because that’s where You want …

Hah, wow, I’m a sucker. Last night I fell asleep at 9pm watching X-files. I woke up at like 12pm, then went back to sleep until about 9 this morning. How pitiful. Seeing how I usually sleep at like 1-2 on most weeknights in San Jose, it’s pretty funny. Friday night’s “Sanctuary” went really well! I was kinda surprised, but I absolutely love the team of guys and girls that …

I may head out to Berean later today and check out Vineyard’s Burn Service’s latest cd, Never Looking Back. I truely enjoyed their first two releases “Your Love Reaches Me” and “The Burn Service”. Great cds with some awesome guitar and youth oriented stuff. =) Prolly see if that accompiment track is over at Berean also, not sure if it would be though. Reading through some Live Journals of Chris …

Well looks like the days of Napster may be over. I tried looking for some stuff today and nothing showed up on ALL of my searches. So either Napster just isn’t working anymore, or they’re blocking a whole lotta stuff. Blah, oh well. I found some really good mp3s of worship stuff that Steve Fee and Candi Pearson did in their Big Stuf Band or Exit 10. Sounds really good, …

Hrm, still don’t know exactly what I’m playing tonite for worship. Ahh well. Guess I’ll just bring the Taylor along (probably what I’m playing). No other real cool updates or anything, pretty boring uneventful day, hehe. current mood: bored

Wow, nice product they have (avalon). Unfortunately they don’t have one in stock (not that I would buy one right now), but it certainly was nice. It riches the tones of the higher strings, but also the low strings, and everywhere…dunno really how to describe it, but I like it. Hopefully maybe I’ll get one this summer. =) current music: Better is One Day (Live) – Chris Tomlin

Ok well going to try out the Avalon U5 in a little bit, see if it’s really cracked up to what it is to be. hehehe. I’ll let ya know how it is when I get back. What a good study break, lol. current mood: jubilant current music: Psalm 145 (Live) – Shane Barnard

I felt like I’m in the mood for some old school worship, so I went into the old archives of AACF and pulled out some goodies. The songs we’re doing tonight are Light the Fire, Glory Honor Power, Psalm 121, Christ In Me, and Holy and Anointed One. Good stuff, hehehe. Hopefully if you read this you can come join us out in San Jose State University’s Student Union on …
